Dear Leading Ladies and Beautiful Flowers Forever,
We are here! Here today because we choose to be! Striving to keep self-esteem high! Setting Goals! Aiming high! Planning to make our dreams come true! There are no Scars to your Beautiful…. And YES! YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL! You are uniquely YOU… Unstoppable Sheroes of Tomorrow!
Beyonce asked, “Who runs the world”? And of course, the answer is a resounding: GIRLS! James Brown says, “It’s a man’s world, but it would be nothing without a woman or a girl!” Oprah Winfrey stated, “When you train a girl, you train a nation.” Jada Pinkett Smith wrote a book entitled, “Girls Hold Up the World”! YOU are that Girl… Unstoppable Sheroes of Tomorrow!
Since the beginning of time, ladies, girls and women have worked hard, struggled and uplifted other women! Are you your Sister’s Keeper? Or are you a hater or a mean girl? You choose… Life is about choices. You choose to help others. You choose to be an up-stander, standing up for those who cannot stand up for themselves. Think for a minute about Harriet Tubman and her fearlessness. How about Cleopatra and her leadership? What about Michelle Obama and her integrity? They were/are ALL confident, changemakers ... UNSTOPPABLE SHEROES.
Throughout the year, we have strived to give you unforgettable experiences and plant the seeds to challenge you, to inspire you to want more and dream BIG! We have had lots of FUN while serving others, dancing, yoga, going to the mall for the BFF scavenger hunt, plays, and eating out. We have also dealt with more serious issues such as: becoming a leader, acting like a lady, goal-setting, music, health and wellness, body image and above all else, Self- Respect!
Leading Ladies: Remember – “ You gotta put that armor on”! “No better you than the you that you are… No better life than the life we're living.” Say it loud and proud and believe it: “I’m STRONG ; I’m CONFIDENT, I’m INVINCIBLE” . We know that when you fall down you WILL get up! So... It is with great pride and pleasure that we recognize your achievements today. Good luck in your future endeavors and remember you ARE an UNSTOPPABLE SHEROE OF TOMORROW!
Love,
Mrs. Sabrina Humphries, Mrs. Laura Hendricks, Ms. Latonya & Mrs. Sabrina

Video by India Arie
Sometimes I shave my legs and sometimes I don't
Sometimes I comb my hair and sometimes I won't
Depend of how the wind blows I might even paint my toes
It really just depends on whatever feels good to my soul
(Hook)
I'm not the average girl from your video - And I ain't built like a supermodel
But I learned to love myself unconditionally - Because I am a queen
I not the average girl from your video
My worth is not determined by the price of my clothes
No matter what I'm wearing I will always be - India Arie
When I look in the mirror and the only one there is me
Every freckle on my face is where it's supposed to be
And I know my creator didn't make no mistakes on me
My feet, my thighs, my lips, my eyes, I'm loving what I see
Unstoppable by Sia
All smiles, I know what it takes to fool this town
I'll do it 'til the sun goes down
And all through the nighttime
Oh, yeah
Oh, yeah, I'll tell you what you wanna hear
Leave my sunglasses on while I shed a tear
It's never the right time
Yeah, yeah
CHORUS:
I put my armor on, show you how strong I am
I put my armor on, I'll show you that I am
I'm unstoppable
I'm a Porsche with no brakes
I'm invincible
Yeah, I win every single game
I'm so powerful
I don't need batteries to play
I'm so confident
Yeah, I'm unstoppable today
Unstoppable today
Unstoppable today
Unstoppable today
I'm unstoppable today
Break down, only alone I will cry out loud
You'll never see what's hiding out
Hiding out deep down
Yeah, yeah
I know, I've heard that to let your feelings show
Is the only way to make friendships grow
But I'm too afraid now
Yeah, yeah
CHORUS x 3

Welcome to the Leading Ladies, Incorporated Empowerment Group Website!!!
Our primary focuses are self-esteem, civility and service. We believe in the
African proverb, "It takes a village to raise a child". We believe that if
parents and schools form a partnership with a common goal, it is more likely
that we will raise young ladies with high self-esteem, young ladies armed with
strategies to combat the negative messages of society. We believe that when
civility, courtesy and simple politeness are emphasized, we will live in a more
civil society.
