Leading Ladies, Inc. is a non-profit 501 C empowerment group which is a spin-off of a girl power group, Ladies for Life, founded by Sabrina Humphries at Sunbeam School in Cleveland, Ohio in 1998. At that time, there was an empowerment group in place for young men and it was glaringly apparent that a group was needed for young ladies. As a veteran educator, with two daughters at home, she was well aware of the varied issues young ladies in her community were/are dealing with; therefore, she was asked by her principal to consider starting a girl power group….she did!
